Izakaya Ichiban@Plaza Damas

Had a very nice japanese dinner with Yoroi360 at Izakaya Ichiban located at Plaza Damas. Here's what I had. The Wagyu beef don that I had was simply fantastic, very very highly recommended, and the price was only RM28. The california roll was also quite good, seems they use better quality seaweed sheets. The taste of the sea dragon roll was quite exquisite. :) Highly recommended place to be if you're craving for japanese cuisine.

Thanks to Yoroi360 & jeannie for introducing us (me and the wife) to this fantastic restaurant. Food and price is fantastic. Service is also very prompt. Still not quite sure how to get there. Maybe after a few more tries to get there by myself maybe I can make out a simple map. Enough talk, here are the photos. :) drool...

Power Problems

Been looking around in search of solutions to solve my power problems at home. Then I came across this in Low Yat. It's a power outlet extender from Belkin that provides surge protection / EMI & RFI protection from Belkin. It's sold at RM79. It's no doubt a very interesting solution to protect your equipment from surge and noise.

Had dinner tonight at TTDI's Rasta Cafe quite nice and reasonable priced. Ordered tom yum soup + rice and Chicken chop.

Late evening snack

Before leaving Ipoh for PJ, I was feeling hungry, and since my parents had quite an early lunch, we went to Menglembu for a quick snack. Wow.. at 3pm the place was still packed. It's a roadside stall that was selling curry mee, asam laksa, and misc noodle combinations with fish balls, meat balls, fried stuff. Yummy yummy, highly recommended if you hungry for something during weird hours in Ipoh. :) It's located in the same road where the Maybank branch in Menglembu is located.

Traffic Jam

Upon coming back from Taiping, we got stuck in this traffic jam at 12am in the early morning. Oh man, Ipoh traffic is surely catching up with KL. Took us almost 1 hour to get clear of the traffic.

Sat Dinner - Taiping (Kuala Sepetang)

As the title says, that the place we ( my parents & the wife) had dinner. We drove down from Ipoh to Taiping, the journey took approx 45 min? Kuala Sepetang ( hope I spelled that correctly) is apparently famous for it's "dou tai chong" fish. Damn can't remember the english equivalent name. We ordered crab, 2 dishes of fish and a vege. Guess how much the bill come out to be? It only costs RM68. This kind of price can only happen outside of the Klang Valley I tell you. Sorry didn't take any photos of the food, it was too tempting, begging to be eaten. :P

Just got back from Ratatouille premier in KLCC. The wife's sister was kind enough to spare me and the wife two extra tickets. The movie / animation was overall quite good and worth a watch in my opinion.

News Flash

Got word from my cousin in Singapore. He got back my 360 from the Funan IT Mall service centre. Going to ask him to stress test the bugger. On another note, maybe I'm paranoid of all these 360 dying, so i decided to get a online-UPS for the 360. Anyone has anything to recommend? :)

Suey..to the MAX

It's the "suey" a.k.a bad luck period for me again. My 360 ROD-ed on me again.. piece of crap. As if that is not enough, my gigaworks died on me. Shit man. I'm going to hold off from repairing the gigaworks for now. As for the 360, well.. i'm going to pass it to my cousin again in Singapore. For the very last time, if the changed one dies on me again, I'm just going to mod the blardy box. Already sick of the singapore warranty picking up and sending.
