Had dinner with my 5th uncle’s family at Bukit Tinggi on Sunday. This is where we went. It’s located on the other side of the road if you’re coming from KL. You need to take a left turn after you come down from the steep slope and pass through the underground pass.
After passing through the underground pass, turn right at the T-junction and go straight. You’ll see the restaurant on your left.
Some of the more famous dishes the restaurant has to offer.
Fresh river prawn and 冬粉 soup
Steamed catfish. We were wondering why they served the fish in a clay pot instead of the typical stand. hmm….
Long beans and crispy pork. Yummy…
田七 vegetables. Think I’ve placed the flash wrongly for this shot. :P
Steamed paddy frog.
Some additional shots:
This vegetable can only be found in Bukit Tinggi / Genting. Taste crunchy and juicy. My favorite vegetable of all time. Here’s a close up shot of how it looks like.
